Events
The Baxley–Appling County Board of Tourism works to promote local events, attractions, and experiences that showcase the unique character of Baxley and Appling County. Through community partnerships and signature events, the Board of Tourism supports economic growth, visitor engagement, and regional visibility across Southeast Georgia.
Below are highlighted events that bring residents and visitors together while celebrating the culture, agriculture, and hospitality of our community.
An annual signature event bringing together business leaders, community partners, and residents for an evening of celebration, networking, and local pride. The Chamber Gala highlights community achievements while supporting continued economic and tourism development throughout Baxley and Appling County.
The Farm Tour offers a firsthand look at the agricultural roots of Appling County. Visitors are invited to explore local farms, learn about regional agriculture ‘s impact on the economy, and experience the people and practices that help sustain our community.
One of Georgia’s most well-known multi-county events, Peaches to the Beaches attracts thousands of visitors traveling through Appling County each year. This large-scale yard sale brings increased tourism traffic, supports local businesses, and highlights the welcoming spirit of our region.
